Finally!!! The Agile HR Meetup is back in Amsterdam this February 2019. Our hosts are Agile trail blazers Booking.com and we’re joined by speakers leading the way globally in Agile HR. Our theme explores Agile hybrid models and looks at how to navigate an organisation that is a mix of Agile and non-Agile teams, and what this means for Human Resources (HR) and people practices. The Agile HR Meetup is a vital learning global network for Human Resources (HR), Learning and Development (L&D), Agile and, People and Culture professionals, on a mission to innovate HR and transform the profession for the future of work. Join us and help shape the discussion.
Agile Hybrid Organisations and One-Size-Doesn’t-Fit-All HR
Agile is rapidly emerging as the new working paradigm in our VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. Across the globe organisations and teams are redesigning how they work in response to change or disruption in their market, as well as the need to gain competitive advantage through digital innovation or an enriched customer experience.
However, Agile transformation doesn’t always mean that all teams ‘go Agile’ within an organisation. It’s also increasingly common for parts of an organisation to embrace Agile working, while other parts continue with more traditional working practices or evolve their working methods at a different pace.
So, what does this mean for HR and people practices? How do we begin to service a one-size-doesn’t-fit-all workplace? Also, can we still introduce more Agile oriented and human-centric people practices within non-Agile teams? Join us to explore these themes and learn from practical, real world case studies from some fab speakers.
Booking.com and HR for non-Agile
On the night, Tamara Molinas, Global HR Manager at Booking.com and Agile People leader, will share insights and learning on how she built Agile HR practices within Booking.com over the last 5 years, and her recent example of introducing new people practices within a non-Agile part of the business.
Navigating Agile and non-Agile at ING
We’re also joined by Alize Hofmeester, from the ING Agile global transformation team, who will share her personal story of embracing Agile within HR, what she learnt from leading Agile transformation across different countries and how to embrace a one-size-doesn’t-fit-all mindset.
Agile HR in a Nutshell Launch
Excitingly, Natal Dank, Agile HR pioneer and co-founder of the Agile HR Community, will also be launching the new free Agile HR in a Nutshell infographic, recently designed in collaboration with the great Mia Kolmodin, from Dandy People, who crafts the fabulous Agile in a Nutshell series, and Riina Helström, fellow co-founder of the Agile HR Community.
